Year 2 welcomed Dan from Poole Fire Service and Rescue this week.  Dan helped Year 2 to understand the role of the Fire Service and also shared important fire safety messages such as "get out, stay out and call 999." They have learnt about the role of firefighters, how they keep us safe and what the children can do to help stay safe. Please look at this sway presentation (can be opened on any device with internet access) and look through the information with your child so they can share with you what they have learnt. At the end you will find a link to a short quiz to do with your child. In the summer, one entry will be picked to win a VIP trip to a fire station for the winning child and their school will win a £50 book token.
